Ken, a newspaper carrier attends college without registering. Haru was watching Ken steal a piece of bone from an archeology laboratory, "Never gotten someone so closely". An associate professor, Shikishima entices Ken into his research instead of rebuking. One night, Shikishima comes to Haru to confess that she resembles his dead girlfriend.
