Henrique de Souza Filho, universally known as Henfil (Ribeirão das Neves, February 5, 1944 – Rio de Janeiro, January 4, 1988), was an influential Brazilian cartoonist, comic strip artist, journalist, writer, and activist. Recognized for his acerbic, critical humor and deep engagement with Brazilian social and political issues, especially during the military dictatorship, Henfil left a lasting legacy in the country's culture and journalism.
