KEAVY EUNICE VICENTE is a Filipino screenwriter who has participated in notable workshops, including Ricky Lee's ABS-CBN Scriptwriting for Television and the 2nd Cinepanulat Screenwriting Lab with Jun Robles Lana. Her debut feature, Distance (2018), premiered at the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival, earning critical acclaim and screening at numerous international festivals, including the Tokyo International Film Festival, Bengaluru International Film Festival, Roze Filmdagen, ShanghaiPRIDE, Mardi Gras Film Festival, Melbourne Queer Film Festival, and the Asian Film Festival Barcelona. Vicente’s other notable works include Unforgettable (2019), produced by Viva Films and The IdeaFirst Company; Pearl Next Door (2020), recognized as the Philippines’ first Girls’ Love (GL) series; and Love at First Spike (2025), a romantic coming-of-age sports dramedy that explores themes of identity, inclusivity, and young love through the lens of queer student-athletes. Her latest film, Open Endings (2025), a finalist at the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival, became the year’s #1 box office hit and won the Best Ensemble award for the performances of its four lead actors. The film marks her third full-length feature and her second entry at Cinemalaya. She has collaborated with leading Philippine production companies, including Dreamscape Entertainment, The IdeaFirst Company, Cignal TV, and Viva Communications Inc.
